Jeffrey Dicapo Obituary

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, and very proud Grand-paw Jeffrey Paul Dicapo. Jeffrey lost his battle with Cancer amoung other health issues at the age of 67. Jeffrey joined his parents Nickie and Ethel Dicapo in heaven on Wednesday, August 27,2025, at 7:33 p.m. Jeffrey was surrounded by his family and friends and passed peacefully at his home in Brusly.

Jeff left behind his loving wife, Stephanie who has been by his side for the last forty-seven years; his 5 siblings, Rick, Paula, Marcel, Tammy, and Nickie; his three sons, Jeffrey, Quentin, and Justin; along with his daughters-in-law, Dedra, Kate and Brittany Dicapo; and his 12 grandchildren, Kyle, Jade, Hope, Faith, Isabella, Bailey, Gino, Jaxson, Luca, Cole, Bennett and Broc.

Jeff was someone who if you met once, you would not soon forget. If you walked in a room and Jeff was there, you knew it immediately from him laughing at his own jokes on top of everyone else laughing. He also never knew a stranger and would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need. Jeff was a jack of all trades and a master of many. Over the years he was one of the hardest working people out there, and he made sure he passed that down to his sons, like his dad passed down to him.

He loved people and could make even the most conservative person laugh with ease, which he got from his mother Ethel. The biggest blessing God gave him was his loving wife Stephanie, who cared for him during all the struggles in his life, even during his last breath. He is now at peace with loving family members who have passed from this life. Remember Jeff in your prayers but smile when you do because that's what he would have wanted. There will be a visitation to celebrate Jeff at Wilbert Funeral Home in Port Allen on Saturday, September 6th, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.

This is Aunt Velmas daughter Debbie from Port Barre.
My grandmother Loretta who everyone called Aunt Moot was a sister to Cecile.

I heard a few days ago about Jeffs death and I am so sorry to hear this sad news.

Sometimes back I heard that Jeff was sick and tried finding a phone number to reach out to him as I don't have Facebook but was never able to find a number.

I lost my husband to cancer 4 years ago and it was awful to watch. My heart goes out to all of you as this will be life changing .

I will not be able to make the service but please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

I pray that God gives all of you needed strength today and in the hard days ahead.

WITH MY DEEPEST SYMPATHY
