Jeff Eichengreen, retired professor and software engineer, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon surrounded by friends and family after a very brief illness. He is survived by his children, Misty Vogel, Courtney Eichengreen and Jacob Eichengreen; sister and brother-in-law Suzanne and Dick Brafman; and dear friends Richard Skorman and Patricia Seator. Memorial service will be held at the All Souls Unitarian Universalist Church in Colorado Springs, 730 N Tejon St, at 5 pm on Friday, July 5. Donations in memoriam can be directed to the Coalition for the Upper South Platte, http://www.uppersouthplatte.org/donate.html.

We are very sad here in San Diego to hear of Jeff's passing. He was our touch stone of computer knowledge. He was so kind and so helpfull every time we called.He is so greatly missed. Blessings on Jeff and to his family
