Mr. Ellsworth, I saw you passed away in social media, at first I thought it was a sick joke, so I checked the obituaries at El Paso Times. I was relieved to not see your name. I then went to the Parkland High School web site and your name is still there. So for a few days I went on thinking it was false information. Unfortunately, it is true. Your Legacy as a great man will live through the people that worked with you. Your expertise, and humility have touched my life deeply, as I strive to be half the person that you were. Some people leave a fingerprint on others forever, and you did that in my life. I will honor your Legacy by imitating your gentleness, kindness, and most important Your Rock Star Attitude. Thank you for everything. Yo the extranare. Alma Sanchez

Mr. Ellsworth, you were hands down my favorite teacher and coach. I remember all the times we sat down and you gave me advice. You told me about your time at UT and all the crazy things you did in college! You were always encouraging your students and athletes to do their best. I´ll always remember you. Rest easy coach.

Coach Jeff was an inspiration at the pool and in the classroom, he taught me how to do a flip turn at Vista hills country club. Then I had him for world geography at Hanks, and his class was always interesting to say the least! I will always treasure the memories he left with me!

Mr. E, I still can't believe you are gone. You made me feel like part of the Parkland family my first year on campus. You had my back and I will always remember your kind words. I appreciate everything you did for me as a coworker, parent, and friend. It was an honor to know you. I know you are sitting on that beach, enjoying that salt air, and listening to those waves.
