Jeff worked in construction for most of his life. He was a member of the General Assembly Church of the Firstborn and enjoyed camping, woodworking and was known to be very mechanically inclined.

Jeff leaves behind his loving family including his mother, Delilah Fauber and sister, Regina Fox both of Martinsville and his brothers, Tim Fauber (wife, Tammy) of Martinsville, Ben Fauber of Gosport, Indiana and Darren Fauber (wife, Katie) of Columbus, Indiana and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Jeffrey and his nephew, Grantham Adam Chandler were taken together from their family at the same time, and he was preceded in death by his father, Junior Edward Fauber.
