Jeffrey Fultz Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 28, 2023.
"The world is diminished because he is gone. But it is still a better place because he was here." - Anonymous
Jeffrey Lee Fultz was born on June 01, 1960 in Portsmouth Ohio. He was the only child of James Fultz (deceased) and Janet Conley (deceased). He grew up in southern Ohio and later moved to Orlando Florida. He enlisted into the United States Navy at 21 years old and served for 6 years active, then was recalled for Desert Storm. He then served 16 years in the Navy reserves. Jeffrey married Sharon Kay Howard on April 17th, 1982, in Spring Hill Florida. They were married for 41 years.
Jeffrey and Sharon lived in multiple cities around the United States while he was serving the Navy including, Beaufort, San Diego, Bremerton, and Orlando. They loved to travel all around the United States and hike together.
Together they had three children, Adam Jeffrey Fultz, Brandon Howard Fultz, and Kaylee Elaine Fultz.
Kaylee married Tyler McNulty in 2015 and gave Jeffrey three grandkids, Ella Grace, Liam, and Abel. They live in Jacksonville, FL. Adam married Jessica Tischer in 2017 and gave Jeffrey a granddaughter, Kostyn. They live in Doylestown, PA. Brandon currently lives in Savannah, GA.
Jeffrey loved playing an active role in his children's lives and interests. He never missed a game or event. While his boys were in High School, he worked for the local radio station doing play-by-play and sports commentary.
Jeffrey is survived by two stepbrothers, Randy and Rusty, a step sister, Marcia, and step father Russell Conley in Pike County Ohio.
Jeffrey was a corpsman in the Navy and became a nuclear medicine technician. He worked in Nuclear Medicine after his active service, and became the director of imaging services, retiring in 2020 from Finger Lakes Health in Geneva, NY, and continuing to work part time in nuclear medicine until his passing.
Over the years, Jeffrey was active in his church. He loved to hike, camp, read, play games or cards, ride roller coasters, listen to music, sing in the choir, watch Jeopardy, and above all spending time with his family and friends. He was known for always being kind, generous, compassionate, thoughtful, and was always willing to listen and put others before himself. He naturally invested in others and those I his life felt deeply loved by him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
"He asked for so little, but gave so very much."
