Jeffrey J. Goplin

Jeffrey J. Goplin, 69, passed away peacefully at his home on July 7, 2025 with his loving family by his side.
Jeffrey John Goplin was born on March 7, 1956, to James and Barbara Jane (Adams) Goplin. His early years were spent in the heart of Wisconsin and in later years his family made a new home in the mountains of Colorado. On May 25, 1973, he joined the United States Navy, where he proudly served his country until his honorable release from active duty on May 20, 1975. After returning home, Jeff attended Whitewater College before settling back in Waukesha. It was there he met his love, Mary Blaski. On August 19, 1979, on a beautiful rainy day at Frame Park in Waukesha, WI., Jeff and Mary were united in marriage.
Professionally, Jeff was driven and respected. He rose quickly through the ranks at Quad Graphics and later brought his skills and heart to Paragon Development Systems, where he worked as a Senior Maintenance Technician until retiring in 2021. He wasn't just a coworker-he was a leader, a mentor, and a friend to many.
Jeff had a passion for sports, playing basketball and baseball in his youth and enjoying golf in his later years. He loved the Packers: Go Pack Go! He enjoyed taking trips to the beach, could tear up a dance floor, and play a mean game of cribbage. Most of all, he treasured time spent with his family and friends. His grandkids were the light of his life.
Jeff's smile was infectious, his soul was kind, and his words were unforgettable.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Mary Goplin; two children, Jennifer (Mark) Schellinger and Erin Goplin; four grandchildren, Colton Schellinger, Saige Schellinger, James Schellinger, and Cheyenne Willis; 3 brothers and 2 sisters; as well as many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Jeffrey was welcomed into eternal peace by his parents, James and Barbara Goplin.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at a later date. His family invites all who knew him to come share memories, laughter, and the enduring love he left behind.
