Jeffrey Thomas Hill

With profound grief, we announce the sudden passing of Jeffrey Thomas Hill, age 56, of Fredericksburg, Virginia, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at his home.
Jeffrey was a devoted husband, father, and friend. Jeffrey began his life of service as a dedicated police officer, protecting and serving his community with courage and integrity. He later answered an even greater call by serving in the United States Army, defending his country. After an accident left him a disabled veteran, he did not let hardship define him. Instead, Jeffrey turned to invention - creating innovative defense technology not for conflict, but to connect, protect, and help others. His heart was as strong as his spirit; he never stopped caring, offering support to anyone in need. Those who knew him will remember not only his brilliant mind, but the strength of a man who lived to make the world a better place.
He is survived by his wife, Maryna; son Chandler; and daughter Vicky.
A burial with full honors will take place later this year. The family will share details once the date is confirmed.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
