Jeffrey Howland Obituary

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney Megill Howland and Ruth Henrich Howland; son, Shawn Jeffrey Howland; brother, Matthew James Howland and sister, Jill Christine Howland.
Jeff was a graduate of Henry Abbott Technical High School in Danbury, Connecticut. He worked as a Tool and Die Maker and Designer; holding several patents. He was later employed as a Supplier Quality Engineer with Ryerson Steel before retiring in 2019.
Jeff enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and listening to music. He was an avid reader and photographer. We will not talk about his love for fleas markets and yard sales.
Jeff leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife, Marita Martin Howland of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; sons, Ehren Martin Howland of South Florida and Kevin Matthew Howland of Inman, South Carolina; brother, Sidney Megill Howland of New Milford, Connecticut; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A Memorial service for Jeff will be held at later date and will be announced when finalized.
The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, please make contriubutions to the well being of yourself, family and friends.

We just recently reconnected with Jeff and Marita when they were up in New Milford, CT over lunch. It was a great day with laughing and poking fun, good food and great company. We're so glad we had that time together.
Jeff's passing was a shock to us, and we still can't believe it..
Our deepest condolences to Marita and the kids...and the entire family. May your memories of Jeff help you through this difficult and unexpected loss..
We will always remember Jeff laughing ..
