Jeff Kendrick passed away unexpectedly on 16 April 2025. Jeff was preceded in death by his loving wife Mollie. Jeff is the Son of Kirk and Regina Kendrick, Brother to Mechelle Triana (husband Jose), Victoria Hansen (husband James), and Shelby Kendrick; and eleven nieces and nephews.
Jeff was born 6 May 1987 in Spokane Washington and lived in Dayton Ohio and Edwards Air Force Base California before moving to Niceville Florida in 2000. As a kid Jeff was in his element when he was rebuilding electronics or optimizing his Amiga 3000 computer, baseball was his next joy, and everything else was just ok. In Niceville he attended Ruckel Middle School and Niceville High School. He didn't give up his fascination with electronics but he did find another level of interest in sports and he played baseball, football and ran track for Niceville High School, graduating in 2005.
Jeff started his Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of West Florida in 2005. For the summer of 2006 he was selected by the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) as an intern for their electrical engineering department where he specialized in airborne sensors. He continued working for AFRL after the summer intern program completed and continued school part-time. In 2008 he met Mollie McLeod, a UWF softball pitcher and his future wife. Jeff graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering in 2015. Jeff and Mollie (also an Electrical Engineer) were married 19 February 2017. Following AFRL, Jeff worked for Micro Systems, Lockheed Martin, F-35 USRL, and Cummings Aerospace as an electrical engineer where he built a tremendous list of accomplishments that included electronic design, avionics and software development, and system integration for sensors, radars, and Electronic Warfare systems and capabilities.
Jeff loved the outdoors and traveling, a few of his favorites were boating, kayaking, and biking on the Florida Gulf Coast; snow skiing in Aspen, Breckenridge, and Snowmass Colorado; hiking in the Smoky Mountains; Disneyworld; and vacationing in Santa Monica, Chicago, and New York City.
We will always cherish the good memories and times that we spent together. We love you Jeff!

I had the pleasure of having both Jeff and Mollie in some of my classes at UWF. They were both so wonderful and made such an amazing couple. I'm so sorry to hear this. My condolences.
