Jeffrey A. Kerr, 66, of Whitehall, passed away on March 18, 2024, at his home. He was the loving husband of Deanna L. (Schlipf) Kerr for 26 wonderful years. Born in Paterson, NJ, he was the son of the late Robert and Madeline (Petrucci) Kerr. Jeffrey served as a Sergent in the U.S. Army and ended his army career as a 2nd Lieutenant. Throughout his time serving in the Army, he received many recognitions and certificates for all his achievements; This is what he was so proud and passionate about his whole life. He also enjoyed listening to music and spending his time at home with his family and animals.
Survivors: Wife, Deanna; Stepson, Stephen; Stepdaughter, Alyssa and her husband Zachery; Son, Joshua; Daughters, Tiffany and Kimberly; Brothers, Robert and his wife Cecilia, Anthony and his wife Sue; Sisters, Linda and her husband Ted, Nancy and her husband Don, Tina and her husband Brian; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 11:30 A.M. in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 1601 W. Hamilton Street Allentown. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in the funeral home.

You have made your final march down the lonely dusty trail. Lieutenant, you are now relieved from your post. A job well done fellow veteran. America thanks you for your service to our country in the defense of freedom and democracy. The final bugle has sounded and taps is about to sound ending a successful career as a nation“s defender. Farewell fellow veteran. A Navy Vietnam Veteran.
