Obituary published on Legacy.com by Pfeffer Funeral Home & All Care Cremation Center - Manitowoc on Feb. 16, 2026.
Jeffrey L. Khail, Sr., age 67, of Whitelaw passed away Friday, February 13, 2026 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers.
Jeffrey was born December 17, 1958 in Manitowoc, son of the late Eugene and Patricia (Smith) Jansen. He was united in marriage to the former Patricia Greetan on January 29, 1977.
With heavy hearts and countless stories to tell, we say goodbye to a man who truly made life brighter for everyone around him. A devoted husband to his beloved wife, Pat, a proud father and Papa, and a loyal friend to many. He leaves behind a legacy built on laughter, love, and an unmatched worth ethic. He was a man who rarely sat still. If he wasn't fishing or golfing, he was outside building something, tinkering in the yard, perfecting the lawn, or working under the hood of a car. He loved NASCAR, cheering on his Rams football team, listening to music, and target shooting with his collection of guns. But some of his most cherished moments were spent playing video games with his kids and grandkids, laughing, competing, and creating memories that will last forever. He was an incredible cook, a devoted dog lover, and the kind of person who would show up for anyone at any time without hesitation. His worth ethic was second to none. If something needed to be done, he did it, and he did it well. He was also, without question, the biggest jokester anyone had ever met. He had a gift for making people laugh out of nowhere. Truly, he was just so funny, all the time. Whether it was a quick one liner, a perfectly timed comment, or a playful tease, he made sure there was always laughter in the room. Making people smile was second nature to him. He firmly believed that one day we'd all be rich from his treasured collectibles. After all, he was known for saying "That could be worth something someday!". Papa, we can't wait. We'll be checking. Above all else, what mattered most to him was his wife, Pat, his family, and the joy of being together. He would probably tell us to move on fast and cheap, not to fuss too much, but the truth is, the loss will be hard for a long time. He was deeply loved, and his absence will be felt in quiet moments, loud family gatherings, and every joke that reminds us of him. Though our hearts ache, we are grateful for the laughter he gave us, the lessons he taught us, and the love he poured in his family. His legacy lives on, and every story we tell, every project we tackle, and every time we choose to laugh, especially when it comes out of nowhere. He will be missed beyond words and loved beyond measure. We also know that he would want us to mention just how truly grateful he was to his adoptive father, Ronald Khail, a man he respected so much.
Survivors include his wife Patricia Khail, his children Jaime(Khail) Grainger and Richard Grainger and their children Cameron and Kenley Grainger, Jeffrey Khail Jr and his children Taylor and Craig Parrish, Jeffrey III(Khail)Gadzinski and Jade Gadzinski, and Braelyn Khail, Tami(Khail) Rush and Daniel Rush and their children Jocelyn Popp and Madalyn Rush, Jason and Brandi Khail and their children Lila, Nolan, Layton, and NovaLee Khail.
