Jeffrey Lenox Obituary

Jeffrey was born on October 29, 1964 to parents, Timothy Leonard Lenox I and Beverly Ann (Doss) Lenox I, in Walnut Creek California. He worked at McDonald's as a manager and at several family owned businesses. He resided in various states, including Minnesota and Georgia, where he was lucky to meet his wife, Angela Renée Rouson, in February 2005. In Minnesota, Jeffrey worked tirelessly with Pastor Gordon Peterson's various outreach ministries. The two married in October 2005 and relocated to Ann Arbor, Michigan in 2015. Jeffrey completed various work studies while attending community college, where he helped wire the campus' internet that hosted the first internet web page. With his intelligence and sharp mind, Jeffrey honorably served in our armed forces and was a highly decorated officer.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his father, Timothy Leonard Lenox I; and his first wife, Gloria Miller.
He is survived by his loving wife, Angela Renée Rouson; children, Shantiqua J'na Council, Angela Renée Lenox II, Zaneta Miller, and Kevin Lakes; grandchildren, Elliott Rashawn Council, Carlos Carmari Council, Ariana Nyelle Council, Kalena Miller, Shakeria Miller, and Legend Pharr; siblings, Timothy Lenox II and his wife, Jeanette Lenox, Gregory Lenox I and his wife, Lisa Lenox, Brian Lenox I and his wife, Jessica Lenox, and Beverly Ann Lenox II; his mother, Beverly Ann Lenox I; his mother-in-law, Mary Millerand; many extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Monday, April 4, 2022 at Nie Family Funeral Home 3767 W. Liberty Rd, Ann Arbor, Michigan, 48103 from 4-8pm. A funeral service will take place on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at 11am. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery, Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Jeff was a kind and generous man! Always full of fun stories, advice and a unique view of the world. He deeply loved his family, especially his wife, children and grandchildren. The world is a bit dimmer without his light. My sincerest condolences to his family during this difficult time.
