Jeffrey Lobner Obituary
A funeral service will be held on Thursday August 21, 2025, at 11:00am at Ritchay Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids. Visitation will take place from 9:30am until the time of service. The burial will be held at Pioneer cemetery in the town of Saratoga immediately following.
Jeff was born in Janesville, WI to Wilfred and Bernice Lobner on January 4, 1955. At a young age, he moved with his family to Auburndale, WI. He attended St. Mary's, Auburndale Junior High and Auburndale High School where he graduated in 1973.
He was very active in wrestling, football, and track, - an accomplishment which he was very proud of. After high school he attended UW- Stout to earn a bachelor's degree of science. He started working for Consolidated Papers in the early 1980s and retired from Stora Enso as a plumber/pipe fitter. Jeff went on to marry Janelle Kester on October 4, 1997, in Nekoosa, WI.
He was a logger and truly enjoyed being out in the woods. He loved taking road trips with his wife Jan, having a good fish fry, and visiting with family and friends.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Janelle Lobner; siblings, Greg Lobner of Abbotsford, Lois (Leo) Mocadlo of Wisconsin Rapids, and Linda (Kurt) Felker of New Hope, MN; mother and father in law, Roger and Patricia Kester of Wisconsin Rapids; sisters-in-law, Shelly (Ron) Veley of Milwaukee, Amy (Jeff) Smits of Wisconsin Rapids, and Sarah Kester of Wisconsin Rapids; nephew, Andrew (Kelsey) Mocadlo of Mequon; nieces, Julie (Jeff) Running of Chaska, MN, Amelia Felker of New Hope, MN, and Morgan Smits of Wisconsin Rapids; and great nieces nephews, Lydia Running, Graham Running, Miles Mocadlo, and Stella Mocadlo.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wilfred and Bernice; and nephew, William Felker.
The family would like to thank the Clark County Sheriff's Department, friends, and family for their kindness and support.
Ritchay Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Jan. I have no words, I'm speechless. Sometimes you just take life for granted and always think you'll see a person again. I just figured he was to ornery to go leave so soon. His passing has hit me hard so I can only imagine how you feel. Please accept my heartfelt condolences. He was my favorite pie eating customer. I could of served him anything and he would of loved it. He will definitely be missed.
