Sandra L. Brown (Holz), age 72, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at Edgewater Haven in Port Edwards, WI.

Sandra was born on April 7, 1953, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI, to Virgil and Loretta (Droste) Holz. She graduated from Nekoosa High School in 1972. Sandra married Alan R. Brown on September 13, 1980.

Sandra worked at Consolidated Papers from 1974 to 1980 before dedicating herself to her family as a homemaker, a role she cherished deeply. She served as a Girl Scout leader in Randolph, WI, and Nekoosa, WI, for 15 years. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post 442 in Wisconsin Rapids, where she contributed her time and care to supporting veterans. She was also a member of Nekoosa United Church of Christ.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Al Brown; daughter, Kora Brown; sister, Cynthia (James) Schwake; brother, Dennis (Sherryl) Holz; nieces, Michelle (Chris) Ebnet, Beth (Jamie) Peckham, Amy (Chris) Allworden, and Sara Froelich; nephews, Erik Fanning and Virgil Schwake; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Loretta Holz; sister, Jean Fanning; grandparents, Orin and Colette Droste, Christine (Droste) and Charles Wagner, and Jessie (Holz) and John Amundson; aunts and uncles, Al and Grace Droste, Louis and Agnes Francis, Marie and Vernon Weber, Donna and Glen Rathermel, Glen Leach, and Eugene Drosta.

A burial will be held at Forest Hill Cemetery on August 15, 2026, at 11:00am.
