Jeffrey Madden Obituary

After retirement, he was able to pursue his true passion, wildfire mitigation and prevention. He was a member of the community emergency response team (CERT) for the towns of Carnation and Duvall for many years. He then moved to Colville, WA, where he continued to be involved in wildfire mitigation and prevention. His coworkers and neighbors described Jeff as a "gentle giant" and a kind and generous friend.
He is survived by his sister, Becky, and John Craig, nieces and nephews, uncles Gary and Carolyn Madden, and Bill and Nancy Feidler. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Lillian Madden, his brother Greg, and his sister Peggy.
There will be a private graveside service. Donations can be made in Jeff's memory via check mailed to: CDCCC, PO Box 644, Carnation, WA 98014 or you can donate to: [email protected] via Zelle.
