Mary Virginia (Jenny) Allen, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend was born on December 14, 1929, and went to be with Jesus on September 27, 2025. She was a beautiful woman of faith who was strong, courageous, and loving. She was the matriarch of her family and raised them to know her savior. Jenny proudly shared and lived her faith. She was a fierce defender of family and friends and would do all she could to help anyone in need. Known to her children as a wonderful mother and to family and friends as "Grandma Jenny". She was stubborn, generous, loving, funny, and a ball of fire which made those who knew her love her even more. Her legacy will continue to be passed on through her loved ones, and she will be missed dearly by so many. She was preceded in death by her husband Homer Allen. She is survived by her four children, Allan (Jayna) Lynch, Kathy (Jerry) Wood, Debbie (Greg) Grunow, Steve Lynch (Madeline Southard), four grandchildren Jason (Kathy) Marts, Jeremy Wood, Alicia (Derrick) Nicholson, Jared Ransom (Mandy), and four great grandchildren Khloie Musich, Gabriel Sigler, Trinity Ransom and Maddux Ransom.

The family would like to welcome everyone for a Celebration of Life to honor Jenny that will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025 at 12pm at Sunset Funeral Home, Cremation Center and Cemetery. All are invited visit at 10am until service time.
