Jeffrey P. Marchetti

Jeffrey P. Marchetti, 67, of Torrington, CT, peacefully passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at his home with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Paula (Sorvillo) Marchetti for 44 years.
Jeff was born September 25, 1956, son of the late Vero and Vera (Silano) Marchetti. He lived a life of 67 years with many accomplishments, fulfilling his life with love, integrity, and genuine satisfaction. He was employed by Marola Motor Sales for 39 years until his retirement 5 years ago. A lifetime member of the Elks Lodge #372, he enjoyed working in the yard and tinkering in his garage, always working on something or making an invention of sorts. He was a Jack of all trades. His kindness was a special quality which he spread throughout his friends and family. He spent precious times with close friends, family get togethers, playing with his grandchildren and watching them grow. He was so proud of those little souls.
In addition to his wife Paula, Jeff leaves behind his son Paul Marchetti and his wife Tarra; his daughter Angela Bottaro and her husband Jeff, his four grandchildren who he adored tremendously, Fia Marchetti, Luca Marchetti, Jaxon Bottaro and Caden Bottaro; his siblings John Marchetti, Michael Marchetti and Janet Coleman.
Although it's time to say goodbye to an amazing man who has touched so many lives and gave so much love, his intelligence and wisdom shall shine on those whom he loved dearly. Family and friends may say goodbye until we all meet again on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for visitation at Cook Funeral Home, 82 Litchfield St., Torrington, and a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will immediately follow at Hillside Cemetery.
