Jeffrey Dean McCann Sr. lived a full and active life, always bringing energy and laughter wherever he went. Known for his quick wit and endless supply of jokes, he had a gift for making people smile and could light up any room with his humor.
Over the years, Jeffrey worked many different jobs, each one carried out with dedication and pride. As a young man, he started out milking cows and later delivered milk as a milkman. He spent time in the logging industry, working both in the woods and behind the wheel of a log truck. Eventually, he found his true calling on the open road, spending nearly 47 years as an over-the-road semi-truck driver.
No matter the job, Jeffrey worked tirelessly and took pride in providing for his family. Hardworking, dependable, and full of life, he leaves behind not only the memory of his laughter but also the example of a man who gave his all in everything he did.
Jeffrey is survived by: his loving wife, Debbie McCann of Hart; children, Jeffrey McCann Jr. of Hart, Charlotte (Keyante) Evans of Hart, Jenna Singh of Hart, Brandon McCann of Hart, and Andrew (Kourtney West) McCann of Shelby; siblings, Sandra Sorenson of Muskegon, Royetta Bayle of Hesperia, and Roy McCann Jr; 16 grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and other extended family members.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by: his mother, Charlotte McCann; infant granddaughter, Kaylynn McCann; sibling Cindy Standoff, Shelly Burns, Christi Jimenez, Richard McCann, Candy Hicks, Sherry Waldron, and Penny Davila.
Memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
A private family viewing has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
