Mr. Jeffrey Morris, 54, of Nashville, North Carolina transitioned on May 18, 2025.
Death is not the ending, but the beginning of a new life which God has promised us. This new life began for Jeffrey "Jeff" Morris on Sunday, May 18, 2025.
Jeffrey, son of Mary Ann Morris and the late Russell Williams, was born on May 19, 1970, in New Haven, Connecticut. He attended Rocky Mount Senior High School. Jeffrey was a Master Grave Digger. A craft he learned at an early age from his late grandfather, Bubba Morris. He was employed by Edgecombe Memorial Park, Tarboro, North Carolina. Jeffrey enjoyed attending Gethsemane Holiness Church, Battleboro, North Carolina.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Today, we pause in humble submission to the will of our Heavenly Father to say farewell. Cherishing his precious memories are: Mother, Mary Ann Morris of Nashville, NC; Daughter, Jessica Robinson of Atlanta, GA; Son, Braxton Gay of Nashville, NC; Granddaughter, Madison Robinson of Atlanta, GA; A very special friend, Shaunise Cabbagestalk, a.k.a. The Walking Bible, Daughters, Ja'niayha, Wyneshia and Makile Marie; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
A Visitation for Mr. Morris will be held from 11:00 am to 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, in the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 noon, on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at the Rocky Mount Chapel of H.D. Pope Funeral Home located at 325 Nash Street in Rocky Mount, NC. The interment will immediately follow the service in the Oakland Cemetery, Nashville, North Carolina.
