Jeffrey Allen Nemitz, 55, of Bridgman passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at his home in the care of his family.
A gathering of friends and family will begin at 12 Noon on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at D’Agostino’s Navajo Bar & Grille, 8970 Red Arrow Hwy., Bridgman. Memorial contributions may be given to Restoration House, a men’s ministry of First Church of God, 5767 Red Arrow Highway, Stevensville, MI 49127. Online condolences accepted at www.PikeFH.com.
Jeffrey was born on December 29, 1970 in St. Joseph, Michigan the son of Gordon and Patricia (Mabry) Nemitz. He was a 1989 graduate of Bridgman High School and a member of First Church of God in Stevensville. On September 19, 2023 he married Sara Schau. Jeffrey loved the outdoors and was a proud member of the NRA. He loved hunting, fishing, and golfing. But most of all he loved hanging with his family and his two wonderful grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Sara; children: Breanna (Antonio) Fragala and Katelynn Nemitz; step-children: Dayton (Aubrey Bristol) Siewert, “Harry” Harrison Siewert, and Luke Siewert; grandchildren: Lucca Fragala and Sienna Fragala; mother, Patricia Nemitz; brother, Rodney (Lisa) Nemitz; sister, Lori (Vince) Rose; mother-in-law, Peggie Schau; brothers-in-law: Aaron (Hollee) Schau, Robert (Maria) Schau Jr., Chad (Joann) Schau, and Brandon Schau; aunt, Ilene Nemitz; uncle, Roland Mabry; 11 nieces and nephews.
Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Gordon Nemitz in 2009; and father-in-law, Robert Schau in 2025.
Arrangements are entrusted to Pike Funeral and Cremation Services, The Boyd Chapel, 9191 Red Arrow Hwy, Bridgman.
