Obituary of Jeffrey S. Ostroff
Jeffrey S. Ostroff, 72, of Warren, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Overlook Hospital in Summit, New Jersey.
Born on October 20, 1952, in West Orange, New Jersey, Jeffrey was the son of William Ostroff and Joan Zimmer. He was raised in West Orange, where he graduated from Mountain High School.
Jeffrey worked as an executive for International Paper until his retirement in 2014.
Jeffrey had been a resident of Warren, New Jersey, for over 30 years and was a member of Temple Har Shalom. He found joy in life's simple pleasures-grilling a perfectly cooked steak by the pool, gathering with his close-knit wine group, and cheering on his children during their athletic endeavors, especially his son's football games and his daughter's soccer matches. Nothing brought him greater happiness than celebrating the achievements of his children, whose successes filled him with immense pride. He also had a deep love for travel, whether for work or leisure, with a particular fondness for exploring France and the Burgundy wine region.
Jeffrey was survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Eugenie "Gigi" Ostroff; his loving children, Jenny, Robert, Spencer, and Rachelle Ostroff; his cherished grandchild, Daphne; and his devoted brother, Gregg Ostroff.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 16, 2025, at 10:30 Am at Higgins Home For Funerals, 752 Mountain Blvd., Watchung, NJ 07069. A private family interment will follow at King Solomon Memorial Park in Clifton, NJ.
Jeffrey will be remembered for his warmth, loyalty, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His presence will be dearly missed, but his legacy of kindness and dedication will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
