Jeffrey Scott Pedley-affectionately known as "Puffy" to many-passed away peacefully on September 15, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. He was 63.

Born on January 12, 1962, to Jay and Charlotte Pedley, Jeff spent nearly his entire life in Northfield, Vermont-a town he cherished and helped shape through quiet acts of kindness and unwavering loyalty. His deep connection to the community was evident in the way he showed up, not just for events, but for people.

Jeff was a devoted father to his sons, Blaine and Brandon, and took immense pride in their lives. From the sidelines of youth sports to casual dinners around town, he was a constant, joyful presence. In recent years, Jeff could often be found sharing laughs with his boys at one of several local restaurants, catching up with friends at the Depot Pizzeria coffee club, or enjoying ice cream on the common-a simple pleasure he never outgrew.

He was also a beloved brother to Lori Buchanan, Andrew Pedley, and Derek Pedley, and a loyal friend to many. Jeff's sense of humor was legendary-dry, quick, and always well-timed-and his gentle spirit left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Whether you knew him as "Puffy," Dad, brother, or friend, Jeff Pedley will be remembered not only for the life he lived, but for the love he gave. His legacy lives on in the laughter he inspired, the memories he created, and the family and community he held so dear.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to the McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, the 27th, at 1:00 p.m. at 284 Bull Run Rd, in Northfield, VT. All are welcome.
