I have known Jeffrey for over 20 years. First as his landlord, second as his friend, and third as a client. He always brought his `guy next door´ personality to every negotiation we collectively worked on. This immediately calmed our adversaries down and he never left a negotiation without making new friends.

His calm hand helped our company over and over. He is irreplaceable in my life and will be sorely missed.

Many weeks a dinner with his wife Carol, a small box arrived at our house. It was a small bit of her collection of sea glass that she has collected over the years. Her hobby was brought up at the dinner. We were overjoyed to get the surprise gift, and it occupies a central spot on our mantle.

I am fortunate to have known Jeffrey for the past 5 years. I would see him periodically at work and always have conversation regarding the latest happenings in the world. Whatever the conversation was regarding, he always had a kind way to make it seem like everything would be ok. Great man, whom I will never forget. May he rest in peace.

Carol, Maddie, and Sam -

I have worked for Jeffrey at Phillips & Angley for about six years and I am absolutely gutted by his passing. The reason I know even half as much as I do about law is because he always pushed me to keep learning. He was one of the most intelligent people and one of the best attorneys I´ve ever met in my life, and I respect and admire him greatly - not only as an attorney and a boss, but also as a person. Everyone at Phillips & Angley is devastated by this loss. I can say for certain that Jeffrey will be truly and genuinely missed.
