Sheryl Iris (Lappin) Levy, 62 of Marblehead & Naples, FL, Entered Eternal Rest on November 22, 2025.

Sheryl was the devoted wife of Eric Levy for 36 years; beloved mother of Joshua of Los Angeles and Rebecca & her husband, Zachary Rubin of Boston; dear sister of Marjorie Lappin Cantor (Jed) of Salem and Steven Lappin (Kerrianne) of Marblehead; and adored aunt and great aunt of Ross, Kara, Welles and Harris Cantor; Reed, Brittney, Louis, Eliza and Elliott Cantor; Justin, Brandon and Alexis Lappin. She was the loving daughter of the late Myron & Sandra Lappin.

Sheryl was a member of Temple Sinai, president of B'nai Brith Youth Organization, a graduate of Marblehead High School and attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She was also the Former Women's Division President of the Jewish Federation of the North Shore and Co-President of Cohen Hillel Academy's Parent Organization, Hamishpacha. Sheryl volunteered as a teacher in the Kindergarten at Hillel Epstein School and at the Beth El Preschool. She served as Co-Chair, North Shore Advisory Committee of the CJP, and as a member of the CJP Lion of Judah event committee and JCC Jewish Book Month Committee. She was also active in the CJP's Women's Philanthropy activities including previously serving on the committees of the CJP's North Shore Mitzvah Day, Choose to Connect and the Miriam Fund.

Sheryl was a voracious reader and passionate about the New England Patriots (as a season ticket holder and attended Super Bowls 51, 52 & 53 to cheer the Patriots to victory), skiing, sitting on the beach, needlepointing, listening to music on vinyl (where she could "name that tune in no notes"), hanging with her dear friends at Plus Café "where everyone knew her name" , her four Pugs (Brady, Villanelle, Frankie and Beanz) and grand-dog, Riley. She cherished her time taking care of her great-nephews, Welles and Harris where she taught them to sing "Ice-Ice Baby" .

Sheryl was passionate about Israel and had visited five times including the Lappin Foundation's Let's Go Israel/Y2I in 1982 as well as two family trips in 2010 and 2014 where she and the family spent time learning about and visiting several non-profit social services organizations around Israel. Most recently in March 2018 with the CJPs Women's Philanthropy Mission and in October 2018 to spend a week volunteering in Haifa.

For their support of the State of Israel, Sheryl and Eric were honored by Israel Bonds in 2015 in recognition of exceptional support in strengthening Israel's economic development and for support of Epstein Hillel School were honored with the Bennett I Solomon Community Leadership Award in 2018.

Services will be at Temple Sinai 1 Community Road, Marblehead on Friday, November 28 at 11:00 AM. Interment to follow at Temple Sinai Cemetery, Danvers. Condolence calls may be made at her late residence following the interment through Wednesday evening of December 3.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to The Pug Rescue League of New England, Epstein Hillel School or Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Greater Boston or a charity of your choice.
