Jeffrey A. Potts, passed away on September 28, 2025 in Murfreesboro, TN. He was born on June 20, 1965, in Nashville, TN.
He spent his life dedicated to both his family and his work, serving at the Metro Water Department for over 42 years. Jeff was a simple man who took great pride in being a hard worker and cherished his role as a family man.
He is preceded in death by his mother Ellen Gletha Potts.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife Shannon Potts; daughters Lyndsie (Andrew) Clark, Shandie Crow, Allie Potts; grandchildren Macie Clark, Jaxon Crow, Mason Clark, Maddon Clark, Sebastion Hollingsworth; brother Tommy (Shellie) Potts, Jr., father Tommy Potts Sr., as well as numerous friends and loved ones.
His hobbies included fishing, enjoying music, deep-sea fishing, and spending time on the front porch. He also had a passion for BBQ smoking and grilling, often bringing family and friends together with his cooking skills.
His legacy of hard work, love for family, and simple joys will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
The family will have a private service held at a later date.
