Jeffrey Michael "Jeff" Roberts

Jeffrey Michael Roberts, known affectionately to all as Jeff, was born in Ogden, UT, on November 9, 1944. His life, spanning nearly eight decades, was marked by an unwavering spirit of generosity and resilience, earning him the heartfelt respect of all who were fortunate to cross his path. Jeff was a humble soul, never one to boast about his accomplishments yet leaving a lasting imprint on the hearts of those around him.
Jeff's talents were as diverse as they were captivating. His career at Union Pacific Railroad saw him rise through the ranks to the position of Manager. His dedication to his work was evident, with Jeff finding immense joy and satisfaction in his role. As a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Masons, Jeff's influence extended beyond the workplace, enriching the lives of those in his community. His generosity and humility were such that he did not merely exist in these organizations but was an active, contributing member whose efforts will be remembered fondly.
Outside of his professional life, Jeff was an avid Harley-Davidson enthusiast, a passionate gardener, and a collector with an eye for the unique. He had a knack for fixing sprinklers, an unlikely talent that often found him helping out his neighbors and friends. Jeff's social nature made him a beloved figure in his community. His relationships were not fleeting or superficial; instead, they were meaningful connections rooted in genuine care and mutual respect. As the famous quote by Maya Angelou goes, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." This sentiment perfectly encapsulates the legacy Jeff leaves behind.
Jeff's most significant achievement, however, was his family, the cornerstone of his existence. His love for his wife, Karen Roberts, was a testament to his commitment and devotion. His children, Katie Bender, Jennifer (Brian) Mildon, Heather (Andrew) Zundel, Becca Fitzpatrick, Christian (Kaycee)Teeter, and Michael (Becky) Roberts, and stepchildren, Scott (Tracie) Call and Debbie Noseworthy, 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren, all were his pride and joy. He is also survived by his siblings, Jerry (Donna) Roberts, Janice Mozley and Tony Roberts.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jeremiah and Joan Roberts, siblings, John Roberts, James Roberts, and Pat Roberts.
Jeff's love for his family was a radiant beacon, illuminating his life's path and providing comfort and guidance to those he held dear.
