Jeffrey Shaw

Jeffrey L. Shaw, 76, of Mount Airy, NC, formerly of Clearfield, PA, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson, NC.

Born to the late Lee and Althea (Bain) Shaw, Jeff was a 1967 graduate of Clearfield High School. He carried with him throughout life the strong work ethic and steady values he was raised with. He spent most of his working years as a truck driver and retired from XPO Logistics, a career that reflected his dedication, resilience, and quiet dependability.

Jeff shared 34 loving years of marriage with his devoted wife and best friend, Trudy Shaw. Together they built a life centered around family, loyalty, and simple joys. He was a father to Stefanie Shaw of Pittsburgh, PA, and a caring stepfather to Mindy Zottola (Art) of Indiana, PA, and Megan Dunning (Shaun) of Raleigh, NC.

His greatest joy was his family. He cherished his grandchildren - Kristina Zottola, Kirsten Kim (Brian), Kylen Sawtelle, Kayleigh Zottola, Owen Dunning, Emmett Dunning, and Eliza Dunning - unfortunately, he never met his great-grandson, Jaylen Kim. He is also survived by his brothers, Steve Shaw (Beth) of Kentucky and Dan Shaw of New Mexico, along with many nieces and nephews who will remember him fondly.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Melissa Dixon.

Jeff found peace in woodworking and took pride in the craft of knife sharpening, enjoying the satisfaction of working with his hands. He loved music of nearly every genre and especially treasured attending concerts with his son-in-law, Shaun - moments filled with laughter and lasting memories.

Jeff will be remembered for his steady presence, his quiet strength, and the deep love he had for his family. He was truly loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
