Jeffrey Lynn Smith Sr

Jeffrey Lynn Smith left his pain behind and gained his new body in Heaven on Friday, August 8, 2025 surrounded by his children and grandchildren. Jeff was a simple man but kind to everyone he encountered, and this is how he will be remembered most. Born and raised in Michigan, he lived throughout his adult life in Sweetwater, TN. His family is saddened by his passing but comforted in knowing he is with Jesus now. He is preceded in death by the love of his life, Donna; his daughter, Courtney Gray; parents Robert and Violet Allor; and brother, Michael Smith. He is survived by his son, Jeff and Michelle Smith; daughter, Chairitie and Mikey Dotson; grandchildren Jordan and Mandie Jefford, Dalton Smith, Jalen Smith, Molly Dotson, Emily Chavez, Ellie Bree Dotson; great-grandchildren Cole Hyatt, Peyton Hyatt and Zion Jefford; brothers Glenn and Linda Smith, Randy Smith; and his two beloved dogs, Maggie and Little Buddy. The family and friends will meet at 4:00 P.M. on Monday, August 11, 2025 at East Sweetwater Freewill Baptist Church for a graveside service and interment with Rev. Johnny Hope officiating.
