Jeffrey Michael Waldrop departed this world on 26 December 2023 at the age of 51. Jeff
leaves behind a legacy to his nation. He served 16 years (Combat Communication and
Recruiter) in the United States Army with an Honorable discharge as a Sergeant First Class.
In over a decade of serving overseas he earned campaign medals for Operation Allied Force,
Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. In addition, he received the: Army
Commendation Medal (3rd Award), Army Achievement Medal (4th Award), Army Good
Conduct Medal (5th Award), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism
Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal,
Non Commissioned Officer Professional Development Ribbon (4th Award), Army Service
Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon, and Military Outstanding Volunteer Medal.
Upon completion of his Military service, Jeffrey earned his Bachelors Degree in Management
Information Systems and Cyber Security. He continued Federal service working at Randolph
AFB, Joint Base San Antonio supporting Military dependents and retirees within the Air Force Personnel Center.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Felicia Waldrop and his three children Victoria,
Sebastian, and Scarlett. He is also survived by his father and mother, Michael and Kathleen
Waldrop, his brother Colin Waldrop, nephew Connor and niece Belia.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on 1 February 2024 at Fort Sam Houston
Veterans Administration Cemetery, shelter 1. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you please
consider making a donation to the Tunnels to Tower Foundation. They have a A+ rating and
96% of funds go to help the financial needs of families of veterans and first responders who died from duty related events. WWW.t2t.org
