Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Ann Seegers Waldrop will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at the Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Don Cocklin officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Hawthorn Funeral Home. Elizabeth was born October 3, 1951, in Carthage, Texas. She passed this life February 21, 2026, in Carthage, Texas. Mrs. Waldrop was one of four children born to the marriage of Sally Sue Shirey and Bertis Gary Seegers. She was raised in Carthage, graduating with the Bulldog class of 1970, where she was active in the Stage Band on drums performing for others around east Texas. Elizabeth attended Kilgore College. She married Philip Wayne Waldrop May 28, 1971, at the First Christian Church of Carthage, where she was a member and played the organ. Elizabeth worked at Carthage Drug and First State Bank and was a loving homemaker and great cook to her family. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and a nephew Brandon Garrett Seegers.

Mrs. Waldrop is survived by her devoted son, Kevin Waldrop of Carthage; brothers, Gary Seegers of Carthage and Mark Seegers and wife Donne of Irving; sister, Janet Davis of Carthage; nieces, Lauren Shephard and husband Scott of Austin, Laken Seegers of Austin; nephews, Patrick Davis and wife Kirsten of Carthage, Erik Davis of Carthage, Blake Seegers of Carthage; and a host of friends.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Seegers, Mark Seegers, Patrick Davis, Erik Davis, Blake Seegers and David Gray.
