Jeffery Glen Warner, 49, of Greensboro, NC, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Moses Cone Hospital.
Born on June 19, 1975, in Durham, NC, Jeff was the beloved son of the late Robert Glen Warner and Marilyn Ruth Brenner Warner. A creative soul with a passion for cooking, Jeff shared his culinary talents with his wife, Shanna, and together they crafted dishes that were featured in O. Henry Magazine.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife of nearly 15 years, Shanna Warner; his mother, Marilyn Ruth Brenner Warner; sisters, Jennifer Capps (Hank) of Huntersville and Jessica Lymer (Dean) of Cary; niece, Lindsay Capps; nephews, Austin Capps and Evan Trapp; mother-in-law, Anne Lassiter of Archdale; father-in-law, Richard Lassiter of High Point; and many other cherished family members and friends.
Jeff had a deep love for animals, especially his cherished cat, Ahsoka, and was a devoted Star Wars fan. Known for his kind heart and generous spirit, he was always the first to lend a hand, putting others before himself. Jeff will be remembered most as a loving husband, a dedicated family man, and a loyal friend. His presence brought joy to all who knew him. Jeff's in-laws loved him deeply, and felt immense joy in welcoming him as one of their own. Jeff touched countless lives with his compassion, intelligence, and empathy. Though he is no longer with us, his light will continue to shine - a bright star in the heavens.
A celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2025, at First United Methodist Church of Cary, 117 South Academy Street, Cary, NC.
