Jeffrey L. Weir, age 71, of Eaton, OH passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025 in the comfort of his home with his family by his side. He was born November 22, 1953 in Richmond, IN. to the late Fred L. and Barbara J. (Kelly) Weir.
Jeff was a graduate of Eaton High School. He was a hard working man; he worked at Dayton Tire, Parker’s Poultry Plant, Eaton School District, Neaton Auto, and owned a small engine shop with his father, Fred Weir. He enjoyed mowing, antiquing and fixing things around his house.
He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Barbara Weir and brothers Kent and David Weir.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Karen (Rosenberger) Weir; children Monica (Raymond) Schuck, Ryan Weir, Melanie (Israel) Cervantes, Teresa (Yancy) Schwab and Scott (Melanie) Watterson; 10 grandchildren; sisters Beth Jerdon, Kim (Scott) Petry, Kelly Weir and Julie (Tracey) Upchurch; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and his beloved dog Macy.
A visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the Gard Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 226 W. Main Street, Eaton, OH 45320. Burial will follow at Mound Hill Cemetery in Eaton. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 4540 Cooper Road, Cincinnati, OH 45242 or Ohio’s Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
