Jeffrey Lewis Williams

Jeffrey Lewis Williams, 63, passed away Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at his home in Saint Albans.

Jeffrey was born June 1, 1962, in Louisville, Kentucky to Samuel and Marva Williams.

Jeffrey was a graduate of Towson University [Maryland], a US Navy veteran, and as a musician in the US Navy Band musician, he was stationed in Naples, Italy where he completed a five-year tour. He spoke fluent Italian and recorded several songs while overseas. A gifted clarinetist and vocalist, Jeffrey was also an avid music collector and lover of the arts. A God fearing, spiritual man, Jeff was an active member in his church, Holy Trinity Presbyterian. Jeffrey's hobbies included spending time with his good friend, Julie, and he never missed a family reunion. He loved family dearly and would often participate in virtual family meetings as well as Passover seders and Yahrzeit observances hosted by his brother, Gregory and sister-in-law, Janice.

He leaves a brother, Gregory Williams (Janice), brothers-in-law, Theodore Jr., Kyle, and Keith, uncle Maurice, aunts Gloria, Dolores, Marcelene, one nephew, Christian, cousins, Colette, Aleta (David), and Gina, many cousins, the Payne, Burch, and Sessoms families, goddaughters, Tacarra and D'Myre Payne, and a host of friends including close family friends, Debra, Rodney (Jin), Julie, Courtney, Danielle, Clifford, and Joanne.

Jeffrey is preceded in passing by his parents, Samuel and Marva Williams, and partner, Dale Henry

A memorial service will be scheduled for Spring 2026 [TBA] at Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church and the establishment of a scholarship fund for music students in Jeffrey's name is in progress.
