Jeffrey Scott Wilson, 55, passed away at his home in Three Rivers, Michigan, on September 27, 2025.
Born on December 9, 1969, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Jerry Wilson and Lois Crager-Wilson, Jeff was a man of creativity, music, and boundless love for his family.
Jeff’s life was filled with music. He played in bands, shared countless jam sessions with friends, and attended more concerts than anyone could count. He loved scrapbooking, preserving ticket stubs, photos, and other memories. Passing his passion for music down to his children was one of his greatest joys.
Outdoors, Jeff felt most at home. He loved mushroom hunting, fishing, grilling, and gathering around campfires. His creativity shone through in everything he did, especially when cooking a meal.
More than anything, Jeff cherished his children, Cooper and Michael. They were at the center of his world and his proudest legacy. He also shared a special bond with his loyal dog and best friend, Sadie Sue, who rarely left his side.
Those who knew Jeff will remember his humor, kindness, and generosity. He was lighthearted and fun, always meaning well, and the kind of man who would truly give you the shirt off his back.
Jeff is survived by the mother of his children, Liberty Wilson; his daughter, Michael Wilson; his sister, Tracy Wilson; and his many nieces and nephews: Justin, Coltin, Megan, Caleb, Natalie, Haleigh, Preston, Alex, Mylee, and Carlee.
He was preceded in death by his beloved son, Cooper Scott Wilson; his grandparents, Herbert and Mary Wilson; his parents, Jerry and Lois Wilson; his brother, Nathan Wilson; and his cousin, Michael Wilson.
In memory of Jeff, donations may be made to Riverwood Center Services, it helps support programs like crisis services, counseling, community living supports, and substance use recovery services, etc.
There will be no funeral service at this time, a celebration of life will be held at a later date where friends and family will gather to share stories and love in Jeffs honor.
