It is with great sadness that the family of Jeffrey Alan Witt, 63, of McCordsville, Indiana, announce he passed away comfortably on September 18, 2024. He was born on December 5, 1960 in Johnson County, IN.
Jeff was a loving husband and a spectacular dad that has left a legacy of love. He had an entrepreneurial side to him early as a teen. He followed his father into the apartment management business, then started his own cable contracting company that exceeded over 30 years. Jeff’s hobbies were motorcycle riding, cars and traveling with his wife, daughter & friends. He was passionate about watching and attending all sports, car racing was his favorite. He was a music enthusiast and food connoisseur.
Jeff was a dedicated man in all aspects of his life. He was a faithful friend and a hard working individual that was known for his compassionate nature, giving spirit and witty sense of humor. He was always ready to lend a helping hand or cheer you up. Jeff’s personality brought warmth and joy to everyone he encountered and his passing will be mourned deeply by everyone who knew and loved him. Jeff’s memory will remain in the hearts of his family, friends and all those who were honored to have had the privilege of knowing him. He is deeply missed.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife Linda (Hickerson) Witt of 30 years, daughter Allison (Witt) and (Jon) Poe, mother Gladys (Wykoff) Witt, brother William Witt, Jr., sister Pamela (Witt) Muntz and a large extended family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, father William Witt, Sr., and brother Timothy Witt.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday October 18, 2024, 2-5pm at Indiana Funeral Care - Harry W. Moore Chapel, 8151 Allisonville Road, Indianapolis, IN 46250.
