Jeffrey Mark Wolfe

Jeffrey Mark Wolfe died on February 5th after a sudden occurrence of leukemia. He is survived by his wife, Jeanna Wolfe, his three children, Wendy (David) Nash, Brad (Claire) Wolfe, and Alexis (Cash) McCurdy, his two stepchildren, Skylar (Drew) Hughes and Mason Wilke, and his sister and business partner Cindy (Bob) Tucci. He also is survived by 6 grandchildren, with one on the way.

There will be a private family service held. Throughout his life, Jeff took great joy from entertaining. The family will hold a Celebration of Life on February 22nd from 11:00am to 1:30pm at Mission Hills Country Club, 5400 Mission Dr, Mission Hills, KS 66208. Jeff's many friends and associates who would like to honor him and his memory are invited to this event.

After graduating from the University of Missouri in 1976, Jeff joined his father, Jay Wolfe, in the automobile dealership business at Jay Wolfe Pontiac. He was joined three years later by his sister Cindy. Together, they formed a remarkable team who worked side by side for almost fifty years. From the very beginning of his career, Jeff had a vision to grow the business and began by taking on the Honda franchise in Kansas City, Kansas in 1979. From there, the Wolfe Automotive Group grew to own over twenty franchised car dealerships in five Midwestern States. Jeff's leadership was recognized in the industry through his election to the National Dealership Councils of both the Acura and Saturn brands. In winter, Jeff enjoyed his early morning walks in Naples, Florida with his beloved Frenchies to get his coffee and newspapers. He also loved skiing and hiking with family and friends when at his home in Aspen, Colorado. He was a passionate Kansas City Chiefs fan his entire life.

As his business resume indicates, Jeff had a passionate love of the car business. He was an exemplary entrepreneur who as a young man had the courage to follow his dreams and make them come true. His sunny optimism was legendary. He treated his friends, partners, colleagues and every associate with respect and affection. The industry has lost a man known across the country for his integrity, tenacity and exuberant enjoyment of life.

Jeff's world revolved around his love for his family. He focused his time pouring into the lives of his wife, kids and grandchildren and shared that same affection for his extended family and friends. He brought joy into the lives of everyone who knew him.

Jeff saw the best in everyone and everything. His positive sweet nature will be missed, not just by his loving family, but also by the many who had the good fortune to know and love him.
