Jeff Wolnitzek, a beloved member of the community and a dedicated entrepreneur, passed away on December 27th at the age of 66.
Born and raised in Fort Wright, KY, Jeff attended St. Agnes Grade School, Covington Catholic High School, and pursued higher education at Thomas More University and the University of Cincinnati, where he earned a degree in Construction Management and Engineering.

These companies include Specialty Interiors, Boone Steel, Carrera Construction and Stewart Iron Works to name a few.
Jeff was deeply committed to philanthropy, supporting the University of Cincinnati College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Covington Catholic High School, and Redwood School. He also established the Wolnitzek Family Foundation to continue a legacy of giving back to the community.
In addition to his professional and philanthropic contributions, Jeff dedicated much of his time to public service. He served with the Fort Wright Fire Department for 16 years, rising to the rank of Assistant Chief, and contributed as a member of the Fort Wright City Council for 17 years. Jeff also served on the Fort Wright Board of Adjustments for 11 years.
Jeff will be remembered for his tireless dedication, generosity, and impact on countless lives. He is preceded in death by his parents Frank and Mary Ann Wolnitzek and sisters Diane Russell, Connie and Karen Wolnitzek and Carolyn Stein. He also leaves behind a loving family that includes his siblings: Gary (Vickie) Wolnitzek, Julie (Baron) Spaulding, Jill Wolnitzek and Becky (Clay) Jones and the following nieces and nephews that he regarded as his own children: Brian Russell, Nick (Stephanie) Russell, Jason Russell (Andy Pulsfort), Greg (Linzey) Russell, Lisa (Josh) Rickels, Kyle (Holly) Stein, Mallory Stein (Alex Baker), Connor Stein (Ally Brinkman), Carly (Dominick) Troendle and Casey Wolnitzek as well as brother-in-laws Dean Russell and Fred Stein. He truly leaves behind a legacy that will endure in the hearts of all who knew him.
