Jene’ Christine Whitman, 74, of Levelland, passed away on Sunday evening, January 25, 2026, at her residence. Jene’ was born on January 18, 1952, to the late Jack Reid Roper I and Virginia (Jung) Roper.
Jene’ completed her high education, graduating from high school in Albany, Texas.
She was self-employed in arts and crafts manufacturing, which she did for many years before retiring in 2021. She devoted her ever-wakening life to doing arts and crafts, as well as visiting her friends and her group of dogs.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory include one son, Justin Daniel and wife Kaley of Wolfforth: one brother, Jack Reid Roper II of Tennessee. She also leaves behind one beautiful grandson, Paxton Daniel. She was proceeded in death by her parents, husbands and one special grandson, Rennick Dwight Daniel who passed away in August of 2022.
No services have been planned.
Cremation arrangements are under the personal care and direction of Combest Family Funeral Homes and Crematory.
