Jeneil Lee Obituary
Jenny was one of five children and spent most of her younger years in Savannah, Georgia. She later moved to Statesboro, Georgia, after marrying George P. Lee Jr. where they had 2 children. Following George's passing in 1978, she and her daughter Terah relocated to the Atlanta area to be near her son who attended Georgia Tech and her siblings who also lived in the area. There, she continued to build a life filled with faith, love, and cherished friendships.
Throughout her life, Jenny remained unwavering in her faith and maintained a strong relationship with Christ. She was known for her quick wit, warm Southern charm, and kind spirit. Jenny was dearly loved by the many friends she made along her journey. Above all, she adored her children and grandchildren, serving as a loving mentor and their biggest cheerleader.
Jenny is survived by her children: George P. "Trey" Lee III and his wife, Cynthia "Cynda" Mathis Lee; and Terah Lee Morris and her husband, Ronald D. Morris Jr.
She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren: George P. "Tadd" Lee IV, Meredith "Meredi" Elizabeth Lee, Bailey Jeneil Morris, and Ronald D. "Tripp" Morris III, as well as her younger sister, Kathryn Porter Smith.
Family and friends are invited to gather and pay their respects on Monday, February 2, 2026, beginning at 12:30 p.m., with a service to follow at 1:00 p.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory, with Rev. David Shaw officiating. Burial will take place following the service at Peachtree Memorial Park.
Jenny's legacy of faith, love, and devotion to family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Jenny. She was always so sweet to me - and funny. I always get tickled when I recall a family shrimp boil at J.W. and Ruth Porter's house. This would have been in the mid-1980's. My parents, Aunt Jenny, Aunt Kathy, and Grandma were there - among others. Aunt Jenny and I were drinking a beer and talking college football (she was a BIG Georgia Tech fan!) when Aunt Kathy and Grandma arrived. When Aunt Jenny saw Grandma, she pushed her beer over in front of me and told me to cover for her. She didn't want Grandma to see her drinking! We will truly miss her, and are sending love and prayers to Trey, Terah and their families.
