Jennie Annucci

Jennie May (Jean) Annucci, age 82, of Toms River, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ. Born to Nicholas and Jennie Panaro on February 25, 1941, and raised in Brooklyn (Red Hook), New York, she lived in the Leonardo section of Middletown for 30 years before moving to Toms River in 2003. She worked as a clerk at Hartford Insurance Company, New York, she was an adored lunch aide when her daughters attended Leonardo Elementary School, and a Data Entry Specialist with CECOM, Monmouth Army Base, Tinton Falls, before retiring to enjoy time with her husband, daughters and grandchildren.
Surviving are her two daughters, Darlene Deinhardt and her husband Dave of Howell, and Felicia Fraulo and her husband Joseph of Bayville; six grandchildren, Lauren, Kyle, Adam, Dominick, Annabella, and Sophia; her sisters-in-law, Millie Panaro, Filomena Curiale and her husband Vincent, Patricia Simone and her husband Anthony; and many other loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Louis (Sonny) Annucci; and her three brothers Rocco Panaro and his wife Louise, Nicholas Panaro, and Mario Panaro and his wife Annie.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 18th, at Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals, 412 Main Street, Toms River. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19th, at St. Maximilian Kolbe R.C. Church, Toms River. Entombment will follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
Jean loved vacationing with her family, tending to her flowers and garden, decorating her home and yard, and spending time with her six grandchildren. She was well known for her sweet, funny way, her cooking, and her famous rice balls. She loved feeding her neighborhood birds and squirrels. She especially enjoyed ringing her cow bell at gift auctions and her grandchildren's sport events.
Memorial contributions in Jean's name can be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital or the ASPCA.
