Jennie Bolin Obituary

Born in Cherokee Falls, she was the widow of HK Bolin and the daughter of the late Frank Allison and Minnie Ellen Hughey Goodson. She formerly worked in textiles and was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving Mrs. Bolin are her son, Danny Goodson; her grandchildren, Bruce Goodson and Sherry Goodson; her great-grandchildren, Hunter Goodson and Adrianna Dyer.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Jack Goodson, Frank Goodson Jr., Kenneth Goodson, Ruby Goodson, Betty Goodson, Chris Denton, and Carolyn Mullinax.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 6:00-7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, SC. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 23, 2025 at 4:00 pm in the Gordon Mortuary Chapel. Interment will be at Clingman Memorial Gardens with Mr. Phillip Goodson officiating. Bruce Goodson, Hunter Goodson, Derrick Goodson, Bobby Goodson, Brent Evans, and Ricky Goodson Jr. will serve as pallbearers.
