Jennie Marie Parker, 39, of Bunker Hill, WV, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 26, 2025, surrounded by loved ones following a long and courageous battle with glioblastoma.
She was born March 5, 1986, in Cumberland, MD, and was the beloved daughter of Sandy Parker, Bunker Hill, WV, and Grant Parker and his wife Tonya, Oldtown, MD.
She was a 2004 graduate of Berkeley Springs High School in Berkeley Springs, WV. Following high school, she attended cosmetology school but later found her niche working as a bartender where her boisterous personality brought joy to everyone she met.
Jennie will be remembered for her charismatic personality, contagious smile, witty sense of humor, and unfiltered conversations. She possessed an immense love for her family and cherished her many friends, along with her loyal sidekick, Mary Jane. She will live forever in the hearts of those lucky enough to have known her - and as Jennie herself always said, she was "kinda a big deal around here."
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her two sons, Breyden and Blake Parker, both of Bunker Hill, WV; maternal grandmother Marie Belford of Paw Paw, WV; two brothers, Dereck Moser and his significant other Sara of Paw Paw, WV, and Jerry Parker and his significant other April of Martinsburg, WV; two stepsisters and a stepbrother. Jennie also leaves behind her adored nephew and niece, Sylar Ray and Piper Moser, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and treasured friends who were more like family.
She was welcomed to eternal rest by her paternal grandparents, Jerry and Jennie Parker; her maternal grandfather, Donald Belford; a special uncle, Craig Belford; and her great-grandparents.
Jennie was deeply loved and fiercely supported from day one by her mother, Sandy, who was not only her mother but her biggest cheerleader, advocate, and best friend. Her sons, Breyden and Blake, stood by her with love and strength, giving her the courage to keep going and the comfort she needed most. They were her driving source of motivation.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at Bunker Hill Church located at 9203 Winchester Ave, Bunker Hill, WV, from 12:00 to 4:00 pm with a brief service beginning at 3:30 pm by Reverend Ben Repine.
The family invites everyone to wear purple, Jennie's favorite color, and to bring a favorite photo of Jennie with a cherished memory written on the back.
Anyone wishing to provide a dish, please deliver it to the church between 10:00 -11:30 am on Saturday morning.
