Jennie Shaw Obituary

SHAW, Jennie Hatcher, of Richmond, Virginia, received her wings on Thursday, May 13, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Samuel T. Shaw Sr.; and five siblings. She leaves to cherish her memory a dedicated son, Samuel T. Shaw Jr. (Rita); daughter, Belinda Shaw; six grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a host of relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., Richmond, Va. 23222. The family will be receiving friends on Friday, May 21, 2021, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Scott's Chapel, 116 E. Brookland Park Blvd. and where funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021 at 11 a.m. Interment Riverview Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Jennie M. Shaw Foundation - Fifth Street Baptist Church, 2800 Third Ave., Richmond, Va. 23222. Livestreaming and online guestbook at scottsfuneralhome.com.
