Edward Denton Obituary

Edward "Selden" Denton, Jr., 76 of New Kent, VA, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 27, 2026. Born on January 4, 1950 in Richmond, Virginia, he is survived by his children, Brett Denton (Laura), Heath Denton (Kathy), Jessica Denton Beale (John), Hunter Denton, and Dawn Nelson (Cary); his brother, Scott Denton (Debra); his sister, Robin Wilcox (Greg); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Selden was an avid hunter and true outdoorsman. He found great joy in the time he spent with lifelong friends, especially at the Moose Lodge. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
