Jennifer Lee Dehart passed away on December 29, 2025, at the age of 79, in Bakersfield, CA. Born on January 19, 1946, Jennifer was a second mother to many in the family. Known affectionately as one of the "Golden Girls" along with her sisters. Jennifer's love for her family was unmistakable and profound. She created a warm and inviting home, cherished by many.
She is survived by her brother, Jerry Puckett and his wife Nancy; sisters, Carol Newton, Terri Nixon, and Tami Puckett; daughters, Cathy Sisco and her husband Grant, Shelly Woodruff, Patricia Moss and her husband Dave, Vicki Hall and her husband Terry; son, Todd Dehart and his wife Sally; along with many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.
Jennifer was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Dehart; her parents, Bill and Maxine Puckett; brothers-in-law, Kenneth Newton and Freeman Nixon; and niece, Megan Page.
Jennifer was a member of Valley Bible Fellowship.
Services to honor Jennifer's life will be held at Basham Funeral Home on Niles Street. The viewing is scheduled for January 14, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, followed by the funeral service on January 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM. Further information about the burial will be provided at the service.
Jennifer's legacy will continue to live on through the memories she leaves behind, as well as the profound impact she had on those around her.
