Jennifer Ritter Hardgrave passed away peacefully in her sleep April 15, 2025 at Clare House in Tulsa. At 47 years of age she succumbed to a lengthy illness.
She was born August 11, 1977 at Hillcrest Hospital in Tulsa. She graduated from Cascia Hall High School in 1996 and Oklahoma University in 2000. She held a Bachelor's Degree from The Journalism College specializing in advertising. She married Christopher Hardgrave in Tulsa and they have a son Riley James Hardgrave age 9 years old.
In her younger years she was active in many sports including soccer, gymnastics, softball and was a certified scuba diver. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Frank and Lillian Ritter of Toledo, OH, her maternal grandparents Carl and Jewel Clark of Tulsa, OK, aunt and uncle David and Sarah Clark of Nowata and John Clark of Owasso. She is survived by her parents Frank and Carlyn Ritter of Jenks, brother and sister-in-law Stuart and Jen Ritter of Stevensville Michigan, and Aunt Marcia Clark of Owasso, and Chris and son Riley Hardgrave of Sand Springs.
A memorial service will be held in the chapel of 1st Presbyterian Church Tulsa (709 S Boston Ave, Tulsa, OK 74119) on May 2, 2025 at 2:00 O'clock, Reception to follow in the library.
Jennifer had a wonderful talent for flowers and took classes in flower arranging. Even closer to her was her love of animals from cats and dogs to horses. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Tulsa SPCA.
