Jennifer Erin Hinrichs, 45, formerly a resident of Ottawa, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.
Jennifer was born on June 7th, 1977 to Paul and Deborah Leigh Hinrichs. She was raised in Marseilles, IL and later moved to Ottawa. Jen enjoyed attending concerts with her sons and her sister, and loved to go to baseball games. Her quick wit and love of music positioned her at the top of global leaderboards in some of her favorite games, Rock Band and Guitar Hero.
Jennifer is survived by her two sons, Alex Hinrichs and Aaron Krafft; her parents, Paul and Deborah Leigh Hinrichs; her sister, Rebecca Hinrichs; her half-brother, Timothy Kiser; and her lifelong best friend, Kayla (Weishaar) Hemsley.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family. A service may be held at a later date.

Alex and Aaron,
You guys don't know me but I played a lot of Rock Band with your mom. Seeing her online always cheered me up, as I knew I'd have a fun and talented bandmate to jam with who never shied away from a challenge. She was a wonderful person and cared deeply for the people close to her. I'm sure she's looking down and smiling of how proud she is of you both.
