Jennifer was raised in Centennial Park, AZ. She had an adventurous childhood with cousins and friends. From a young age she gathered lifelong friends with a deep kindness for everyone she met. Summers were often filled with family vacation trips. And at home, she had an intuitive skill for cooking. Her love for food and cooking would carry on into adulthood and became a successful career. After high school, she graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary School in Scottsdale, AZ. She met Nathan in 2011. Later she managed the kitchen at River Rock Roasting Company in LaVerkin, UT. She married Nathan on August 29th, 2015. They moved into their home in St. George, UT in 2018. And on February 9th, 2019, they welcomed a beautiful daughter, Pixley Wren Holm. Throughout her life, she was always incredibly determined. On December 21st, 2021, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. She used her experience with cancer to encourage others, always spreading positivity and optimism. She was encouraged and inspired by many people who were also diagnosed with cancer, who supported her. She had a special connection with her high school teacher, Linda Earl, who passed away from cancer in 2021.
She is preceded in death by her Grandpa David, Aunt Hellen, Uncle Danny, brother in-law Sunny, and Uncle Robert who she had a special connection with. She is survived by her husband, Nathan Holm; daughter, Pixley Holm; parents, Gene & Shirley Dockstader; and siblings, Nicholas, Brandon & Aubrey, Timothy, Alexander, Kelsey, Tyler, and Bennett Dockstader; and many extended family and friends.
She was surrounded by many loved ones, too many to list here. Her family would like to acknowledge a few of those many people who helped take care of her. Anne & Nate, Holly, Jess, Lestie, Stephanie, Lory, Sandra, Lehi & Angela, Lyman & Esther, Emily, Sarah, many of Nathan's family members, Dr. Stephen Grant, Dr. Berkeley Bate, and Paul Avazpour, thank you!
