Jennifer Ruby Horns James Of Union Bridge, MD Jennifer Ruby Horns James, 32, of Union Bridge, MD died unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at her home. Jennifer was born November 16, 1981 in Birmingham, AL. She was the daughter of Dr. Phyllis N. Horns and Mr. Fred Horns of Greenville, NC. She was the wife of John T. James, whom she married September 1, 2013. She graduated from Catonsville Community College and was a Registered Nurse. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her cats, Maggie & Pebbles. She enjoyed traveling, following the Baltimore Ravens, going to the beach and was known for her laughter. Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are brothers John Horns of Greenville and Justin Horns of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; her in-laws John and Marietta James of New Windsor, MD; sisters in law Beth Goode of Hampstead, MD; Julie Rosier of Westminster, MD; and Kathy Maggard of New Oxford, PA; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hoyt & Ruby Nichols of the Rock Ridge community and Virginia Horns Marsh of Birmingham, AL and Fred F. Horns of Clearwater, FL. A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 22, 2014 at Englewood United Methodist Church in Rocky Mount with reception and visitation to follow. Union Bridge arrangements entrusted to Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, MD. A private inurnment service will be scheduled at a later date. Local arrangements entrusted to Thomas-Yelverton Funerals and Cremations at Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Scholarship Fund, ECU Medical & Health Sciences Foundation, 525 Moye Blvd., Greenville, NC 27834 or Camp Don Lee, 315 Camp Don Lee Road, Arapahoe, NC 28570.
