Jennifer Andres Luna, 49, of Webster, passed away on 3/31/2024. She was born in Manila, Philippines on 12/16/1974 to Juanito Andres and Rebecca Suarez Andres. She was married to John Luna for 27 years. Jennifer had a career in nursing for the Houston Methodist Hospital in Baytown and in Clear Lake. She had a great passion for her work. She was honored to take care of her patients. In addition, she was actively engaged in teaching, mentorship, and taking care of her family. Many of her students have achieved master's and doctorate degrees, becoming educators, nurse practitioners, and supervisors. Her full credentials are Jennifer Luna, RN, DNP, MBA, MSN, CCRN-K, CVRN-BC, NPD-BC, EBP-C, Professional Development Leader. Her proudest achievement was bringing her son and her family to the United States. She is proud to have lived a full life.
She is survived by John Luna (husband), Aaron Luna (son), Juanito and Rebecca Andres (parents), Bernadette Andres (sister), John Christopher Andres (brother), Juan Carlo Andres (brother), and John Ricardo Andres (brother).
A visitation will be held at Crowder Funeral Home, 111 W. Medical Center Blvd., Webster, Texas, on Wednesday, April 3 at 10 AM, Followed by a Funeral service at 11AM.

This is so heartbreaking. My memory with Jen started at Makati Medical, being one of her senior nurses. I knew then how smart she is. When we reconnected in FB, I saw how far her passion for nursing brought her. I am so proud of her. I even attended one of her Philippine virtual lectures since I work nights here in the US, it was very convenient for me. I even earned a Philippine CE for it! It was so nice seeing her talk. I even told her that I hope someday I get to see her in a nursing conference. Thank you, Jen for allowing me to be inspired by you. And, for being genuinely happy for the path I took despite going against what everyone expected me to be.

Jen, is my elementary and high school classmate in Elizabeth Seton School. She has always been a go getter. Very smart and intelligent, very competitive as an individual. Jennifer was probably one of the best nurses you could ever come across in your life she was a light in a room of darkness. She had the most beautiful soul, and I know that she is with our heavenly father to this day because she was beyond magnificent. I have recently suffered in loss of my husband, almost 3 years ago and my heart and my soul goes out to John and their son, praying for the family Every day that there will be healing and restoration during this extremely difficult time. Jennifer will be so missed and I thank God I have the opportunity to say something.
